The Oregon coastline…it’s hard to put into words just how beautiful this rugged landscape is. Thankfully because of that difficulty, we can let photographs tell the story! The Oregon coastline is one of the most beautiful coastlines within the United States. From dramatic cliffs, to mysteriously shaped sea stacks, historic lighthouses, islands and more, there are endless opportunities to fill your memory cards with beautiful images! I invite you to come join me for six amazing days touring two of the most scenic areas along the Oregon coastline! We will be spend every sunrise and sunset out shooting as much as we can, and if the night sky cooperates, we will take advantage of the spectacular dark skies in this region as well! Don’t worry, we will have time to edit in the middle of the day while enjoying some tasty clam chowder!

Physical Requirements:

Most shooting locations are a short walk away from the parking lot. There is one location that involves a bit of hiking through uneven terrain for about half-a-mile. There will be times when you will be near waves and tides, so please be aware that you may need to be sturdy on your feet. Please know your limitations. If you feel a hike may not be for you, I will gladly give you another shooting location to visit during our outing.

Where Do We Stay?

We will be staying at an AirBNB home in both Brookings and Bandon. Rooms will be based on double occupancy unless there is an odd number of men vs women. Staying in a home together allows us the freedom to leave together, edit together, and just nerd out together at anytime.

Getting There:

Our workshop will begin in Brookings, Oregon. The nearest airport to that area is Rogue Valley International Airport in Medford, Oregon. From Medford to Brookings, it is about a 2.5 hour drive.

Workshop Start / Wrap:

Our workshop will begin on October 22 with a meet and greet at our accommodations in Brookings at 2PM and wrap in Bandon at 10AM on the 27th.
